im a camper

Touch camp was quite enriching as well as tiring
the time spent with the team made me feel closer to them and getting to know most individual's habits and their embarrassing, funny moments was indeed heart-warming

1st day was quite routine with pt, field trgn and 6-men game. It did train us physically and be better at handling balls. Wasnt too particular but it was a bonding day. All of us had much fun playing the games. The captain's ball was relaxing and exciting though the team knew i lost terribly. as in out of 3 games with a mixture of different members, my every team lost every round. so we had some punishment to do: serve the winners for lunch; bathe last; and do performance for those evil ppl laughing at us. but it wasnt too bad coz we didnt exactly serve as im the food IC *grins :) and i went to the far end toilet to wash up but i didnt escape the banana performance :( oh wells. it was fun to lift the mood of the team so that we get hyped up for the following trgns. There was grid game, murderer (eelen's fav) and the shooting game. We had great laugh at one another's silly actions, i confess it was good trgn for abs muscles man! the long day ended with long, tight slp though i woke up a few times in the night.

2nd day was more interesting despite numerous aches all over the body as complained by most ppl. i still cld find tt acceptable probably coz i went through the harsh nc pt and urgency throughout 4 yrs of my life. indeed it was a help! though we complain but we still perserve on and keep going at our best which is commendable :) Shah came super early and took us for morning run outside sch. despite the distance, somehow i dont feel much pain and stress coz of the greenery around. different experience, changes ur perspective of things. then MST was VERY helpful too. He took us for some AEROBICS. Quite a shock and a wow that he knew such things. Tiring but fun, i guess. Had some games. HAIDAI QUEEN ahahaha... Proceed on to gym trgn and had hands on with the equipment. Quite enjoyable with the air-con. haha. tt really stretched my muscles as i cld feel the tension. did sprints, running.. before we do ball passes. Mr Sun wasnt very cooperative so we had to train indoors. Later did 6-men on the field with puddles of soil everywhere. Once i got dirty, i just heck and went all out to run. we were 'full of shit' when we got out of the mud pool, just guess what happened to my white camp tee. and beautiful chocolate coated legs.. mmm.. yucks!

3rd day was quite boring again. had stretches in the morning with my legs aching now. its my turn to suffer :( 6-men game was alright with the gentle weather. i just realise i cld work better in cooler climate. like better stamina and sprints. tts weird, even a bio student myself cnnt really explain this. the videoing really did tremendous help as i cld see my mistakes and make improvements on them. writing those comments for all 14 was quite some chore but i enjoy receiving them xD and i TOTALLY DIN expect WANYAN to be my angel la. the most impossible person to be possible. so near yet so far. what good acting skills there. we complete another 2 6-men game and finally call it a day. im kinda dead beat but i dont regret participating in the camp. It was seriously a leap ahead of our rugby life! love touch and team :)
