24 Aug after sucha long long time. finally got to watch the bball match once again. its a showdown between the J2s and J1s. all excitement hav been absorbed in the process.. 30Aug these 2 wks hav been a mugging wk for me. its night study everyday to be specific.but its satisfying though not always productive. its also more bonding time with classmates. i get to know them better:D a sudden impromtu class party plan on t'chers day stirred us to start hunting food and gifts at night when we're supposed to hav NSP. though this came a little late.. the ROD and fireworks photos my stupid com was down for a mth. went to the fireworks performance on fri! super lucky to get the tickets :D it was spectacular, splendid, marvalous.. and smth i cant describe well. it was a great experience coz the whole atmosphere, colours and mood was there. but everything lasted all too short after the long wait :( it cant be captured properly on camera coz its the process tt sums it all! once-in-a-lifetime experience indeed. and Bravo companion too :)
it was a study first then watch fireworks day! did some work with nab and zur in the afternoon then yizhen joined us in the evening. we slowly made our way to esplanade bay to get some good view to the ndp preview. actually im not exactly interested in the performance, just the pretty, colourful fireworks. at the roadside, the sight of those march past and flag party just stirred up so much of my splendid memories of nc. those days in syf and marching in no.1 at safti and all.. it was a long wait to fireworks but we all just had ways to kill time :) yizhen made me addicted to the cube! its cracking up my brain and im determined to try it myself at home! something tt brought me much comfort is tt when zur and nab were telling yizhen,' why u keep scolding HueyHuey!' i felt protected. its like they are friends tt wld stay by my side through thick and thin and give support whenever i need. i was assured and touched. im not scared of being bullied now! wow this week had been busy.. lets see MON it was an exciting day tt is of surprise. Huiling gave me the idea tt i cld hav gotten the Campus superstar tix frm the bballers. so in the end she helped me to contact Bronson for it. Thanks! and after the super long day of lessons i rushed down to meet Keli and went to media corp. it was some experience tt i enjoy there though it wasnt particularly out of expectation. those singers were quite diff on tv and the process of the filming involve so many procedures. oh well. though Javin didnt get in, our crowd still cheered on for him. he did his best and im sure NY will be proud of him. His sincerity has gotten our respect. by the time i reached home it was almost midnight... knock off straight away. today was quite a rollercoaster ! i was in the sch at 730. but my lesson only starts at 12pm. like !@##$%^& tts NOT THE END . announcement was made tt there was a 30 min DELAY. so once again !@#$%^&. after tt good 1h lecture. i got the news tt we had to stay back for lit paper at 230. so !@#$%^& so i practically wasted so much of my youth today in sch! got back most of the papers except for econs which i will TRY to wait patiently until nxt wk. so far it was B-U-D-D :( and i got a shocking news frm Jermaine. its quite hard to absorb it at first but i hav to accept the reality and how things move with time. no matter how hard i try to read the mind, it still didnt work which is demoralising. but im really curious who? but one thing i can clearly tell tt you are running, running. i need to think. real hard.
today was simply splendid. Maths brightened my day :) im eagerly waiting for the other papers to come. good or bad, leave it to fate. i'll just take it. i realised how queer ppl are. before this, my maths tutor hardly talk or acknowledge me, now she even tries to encourage me. how strange human behave, i wonder, i wonder. despite this i was not totally satisfied, not because of the grade but the fact tt spending one more year gives a reason for it to be EXPECTED. smth i MUST achieve otherwise i'll be letting myself down. so there wasnt a 'consumer surplus' so to speak. and on the second thought of my pathetic chem. sighs. i must keep the momentum gg and not lose it, otherwise my sudden 'infatuation' for chem is all extinguish! i took like 1 yr to start liking chem again and it mustn't be lost! 2 days ago, i was telling myself 'Ping ah! i forgot to mention tt there was an exciting match going on last Wed! our Team NYJC Vball entered the finals and the sch was sent down to support them. our supporters were obviously lesser than AJ's but we were practically cheering the whole way through. It was nerve-breaking all the way till the end and i enjoyed cheering with gusto when we all go, 'CHAMPION.. CHAMPION..!' yes we smacked AJ right in the face with a score of 3-1. hoho. Here's the crazy team. Mr Quek is certainly very proud of them and im looking forward to a holiday :)
